If you’re reading this, I am sending a friendly reminder to visit your local library.

Take your time to wander down the aisles of your favorite genre, and allow a book to find you.

Be sure to be kind to the librarian, and thank them for honoring the role as keeper of The Dead Tree Scrolls and Silent Voices.

If you do go, I would love to know the book and its Author that captured your attention. When I go, I will write about it.

Maybe we could start a community to give lost books a home again.
I would love that. So much.

Have we forgotten the intuitive play when it comes to literature?

We fulfill a book’s purpose by setting an intention before selecting something to read.

Greedy algorithms have taken over the will to choose and the thrill of the hunt. Like digital drug dealers, algorithms feed humanity’s addiction to mindlessness.

Giving only the illusion of knowledge instead of allowing the reader to nourish their mind by their will alone.
